Okay, "follow" might not be the best way to describe my relationships with these blogs. But they're all written by people I know and they're all written well (with the exception of Janet's, but she's an American expat living in Italy, so she gets a pass).

Some music that doesn't suck
These days, I'm mainly into ambient and electronica ... Ray Lynch, Tim Story, Bill Douglas, etc. But I haven't lost my taste for pop music entirely. Here are a few examples: House of the Rising Sun, Mr. Jones, Hey There Delilah, Everybody Hurts, God Shuffled His Feet (I actually cried uncontrollably the first time I really listened to this one ... hormones, I guess), Detroit Rock City, The Christmas Song, Addicted to Love, Knocking On Heaven's Door, Daydream Believer.
