For most of the 90's, I worked as a feature writer/photographer (stringing at first, then full-time staff) at The State newspaper, a KRT (Knight Ridder Tribune) publication in Columbia.
Since then, I've freelanced, mainly studio, mostly advertising. (Control freaks love the studio.)

Control freaks also love digital audio production. The big difference between the two for me was that, while shooting feature stories was profitable, my digital audio addiction sucked back up almost every dime it generated.
